Fresh Express is the leader in delivering healthy consumable products to some of the leading Retail Grocers and Food service suppliers throughout the United States. <5c pan=""><5c>\nThe Transportation Clerk will specifically support the Fresh Express Network Transportation Routing Centers in the areas of load tracking and reporting carrier communications, assisting with delivery appointment scheduling, proactive communication and problem solving while maintaining the department's service failure log.<5c pan=""><5c>\nWork schedule: Overnight 6pm-5am 4 days per week<5c pan=""><5c>\nPrimary Responsibilities:<5c trong=""><5c pan=""><5c>\n

- Act as a liaison between carriers, shipping and customer service<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
- Manage the execution of on time pick-up\/delivery of our Fresh Express, and loads with our carrier partners while maintaining the cold chain throughout transit.<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
5c>5c>- Provide proactive communication to our customers, customer service and sales departments when trucks are expected to be late by working proactively with our carrier partners on load tracking<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
5c>5c>- Report OS&D's timely to Customer Service and work through issues with Sales to provide disposition to the carriers<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
5c>5c>- Assist in scheduling delivery appointments as required<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
5c>5c>- Manage the accuracy of the On Time Arrival data being supplied by the Carriers within the expected timeframe<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
5c>5c>- Service our internal Shipping departments by ensuring carrier equipment meets specification and is available on-site within the timeframe required<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
5c>5c>- Provide administrative and operational support to various duties involving carrier management and innovations<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n<5c l="">\nRequirements:<5c trong=""><5c pan=""><5c>\n

- 1 year experience in professional office setting in business or related field<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
- Associates degree or comparable college credits in business, supply chain management, Logistics or related field (trucking \/ warehousing) or equivalent work experience<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
5c>5c>- Available to work either 2nd or 3rd shift (weekends and nights)<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
5c>5c>- Computer skills (i.e. Internet, MS Excel (Intermediate) Pivot Table & V-lookup, MS Outlook<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
