Summary:
Responsible for performing various cleaning and departmental functions in assigned patient and non-patient areas which include cleaning occupied and discharged patient rooms, as well as offices and ancillary areas. Has increased responsibility and acts as a lead worker and as a trainer for new and current staff. May assist the supervisors with work assignments, workflow, staff training, work direction, and special assignments. Work is performed independently under little to no supervision. Assumes Coordinator duties and responsibilities as assigned. Perform all other duties as assigned.
