Organizational Summary:
The USF Psychology Department is home to approximately 3,000 undergraduate and 100 graduate students. Our department also includes 6 administrative staff, 6 academic advisors and over 50 core, affiliated, and emeritus faculty members. We are one of the largest departments in the College of Arts and Sciences.
- Collect data from human subjects in eye tracking and EEG studies; train and assist other RAs
- Perform data processing and analyses in Matlab, R, Data Viewer, and Python; train and assist other RAs
- Program experiments using Experiment Builder; train and assist other RAs
- Manage the IRBs, including reporting, filing new protocols and amendments, communication with IRB staff
- Work with department staff to oversee budgets and request money for study participant compensation.
- Manage and organize lab files and communications, including the lab manual, Azure Share, Google Drive, email, calendar, website; Organize and maintain records and plans for internal and external meeting agendas.
- Coordinate protocols and communications with collaborators inside and outside of the university; Maintain databases of project records and generate reports in coordination with offsite teams.
- Assist with writing and revising manuscripts and presenting research
- Prepare grant progress reports
Minimum Qualifications:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience in office or administrative support or in research support. College education may be substituted for the required experience on a year for year basis.
Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree.
