As a Lead Technology Solutions professional, you will work directly with Senior Leadership on the Primary Care Growth Team. While your primary focus will be to build Sales applications on Salesforce Health Cloud, you will quickly expand beyond Salesforce, learning new programming paradigms and adopting emerging tools as the software engineering world evolves. Current sales agent tools include managed packages like Blackthorn, BrainShark, and Spiff, while we explore the latest AI technologies to enhance our services.
AI tools we use now include Salesforce Einstein Lead Scoring, Bigtincan's AuthoringAI, RoleplayAI, Coaching AI and InvocaAI for conversational intelligence. We plan to introduce more AI features going forward to help sales agents keep up with the demands of our fast-growing business. Lead responsibilities will include the following:
Design and Development:
- Develop Salesforce Health Cloud features using Omniscript, Apex, and Flows.
- Create custom applications, workflows, and automation using Salesforce tools including Omniscript, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Build user interfaces and integrate Salesforce with external systems like Mulesoft.
- Contribute to full-stack development beyond Salesforce, including UI frameworks, backend services, APIs, and data integrations.
- Evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, languages, and architectural patterns as business and technology needs evolve.
Collaboration:
- Work with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in sales, marketing, and IT to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentoring developers, and setting engineering best practices.
Testing and Maintenance:
- Ensure application stability, performance, and security through testing and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot production issues, debug complex problems, and provide long-term system support.
- Promote CI/CD, strong development lifecycle practices, and scalable deployment strategies.
Documentation in ADO:
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture designs, solution specifications, and test plans.
- Maintain knowledge transfer (KT) documentation and system configuration records in Azure DevOps (ADO).

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years' experience with Salesforce development
- 2 years of project leadership experience
- 3 years of Salesforce experience with proficiency in Sales and Health Cloud using Omniscript, Apex, and Flows
- Salesforce Certifications: Sales/Service/Health Cloud, Administrator, Platform Developer, and Omnistudio Consultant
- Experience managing multiple tasks and deadlines with strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills both verbal and in writing, with the ability to present to senior leaders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with integrating Salesforce with external systems through Mulesoft.
- Full-stack development experience outside Salesforce (e.g., JavaScript frameworks, backend services, APIs, cloud platforms).
- Certified OmniStudio Developer or Platform Developer II.
- Salesforce expertise in Sharing & Visibility, Deployment Strategies, Platform App Builder, Advanced Administration.
- Health Cloud Accredited Professional.
- Healthcare Industry Certified AI Specialist.
- Certified AI Associate.
- Advanced Administrator.
- Salesforce Certified Associate.

This position follows a remote work style however the candidate must live close to one of our designated IT locations: Louisville, KY; Tampa, FL; Dallas, TX; Boston, MA; New York City; Washington, D.C: Atlanta, GA, Nashville, TN, Chicago, IL or Charlotte, NC.
