POSITION OVERVIEW
JOB SUMMARY:

This position provides technical support by creating, remediating, and uploading data to the Argo Scholar Commons. Typical duties include data entry, PDF remediation, basic citation coding, research, etc., and other tasks as requested.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must be a student enrolled for credit. Applicants may be a student at UWF or any other college, university or high school. A student enrolled at an institution other than UWF must provide proof of attendance by submitting a registration/fee payment receipt from the school they will attend.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Students from all majors are encouraged to apply. A qualified candidate will be detail-oriented and possess a working knowledge of Excel, Adobe, Notepad , Word, and be willing to learn new systems. Applicants should also have basic research skills and the ability to focus on long-term projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Familiarity with the Argo Scholar Commons and other library systems, exceptional research skills, and an interest in current research happening at UWF.

  • This position requires a criminal background screening.
