This position meets with students and external clients to discuss additive manufacturing solutions. The person that fills this position must possess knowledge of 3D modeling and prototyping, as well as appropriate knowledge of 3D printer slicer software. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; ability to think creatively are also essential.

Certification in one of the following: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Fusion360
Knowledge of 3D modeling and prototyping
Knowledge of 3D printer slicer software (Cura, Bambu, Eiger, Makerbot, Simplify 3D, Apex)
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; ability to think creatively
Exceptional time-management and problem-solving skills to fulfill 3D printing needs for clients
Familiar with multiple types of 3D printers (FDM, SLA, CFR, Metal X)
Familiar with 3D scanning technology (ArtecEva, Next Engine)
Basic knowledge of electronics, including the use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and microcontrollers
- 50% - Meeting with students and clients to discuss additive manufacturing ideas/concepts and applying them to projects. Utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; ability to think creatively when working with clients. - (Essential)

- 10% - Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining printers and other lab equipment. Keeping lab and materials/supplies organized. - (Essential)
