Position Summary Provides individualized financial well-being coaching and support to Orlando Health team members through the Financial Well-Being: Pathways Program. Delivers confidential one-on-one coaching, crisis-based financial support, educational programming, and resource navigation to help team members reduce financial stress, build financial resilience, and achieve personal financial goals. Actively participates in well-being response efforts during critical incidents and collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure timely access to resources. Responsibilities Essential Functions - Provide individualized, one-on-one financial coaching sessions to team members, addressing topics such as budgeting, debt management, savings strategies, credit building, retirement planning, benefits utilization, and short- and long-term financial goal setting. - Conduct comprehensive financial assessments to evaluate team members' current financial situations, identify barriers, and develop personalized action plans with measurable goals and milestones. - Assist team members in understanding and maximizing their organizational benefits, including health insurance, retirement contributions, flexible spending accounts, and other available programs. - Conducts crisis-focused financial coaching sessions for team members experiencing financial hardship, connecting them to available assistance, incentives, and support resources, including the Team Member Support Fund. - Actively supports organizational response during critical incidents by offering financial coaching, stabilization planning, and resource navigation for impacted team members. - Facilitates or supports financial-well-being debriefings and other response activities during critical incidents, based on identified need, individual capability, and appropriate training. - Facilitates and co-delivers financial well-being master classes, workshops, and group education sessions on common financial topics. - Assists team members in accessing internal financial programs, savings incentives, and community-based resources. - Maintains accurate documentation, scheduling, and outcome tracking for coaching sessions in accordance with confidentiality and program standards. - Collaborates closely with the Pathways Program Manager and other Pathways Coaches to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery. - Participates in ongoing training, certification, and skill development related to financial coaching and well-being best practices. - Connect team members to relevant internal resources (HR, Benefits, Well-Being, etc.) and external community resources (nonprofit agencies, government assistance programs, credit counseling services) based on individual needs - Works collaboratively across departments and interdepartmentally to enhance well-being initiatives and support integrated team member care. - Participate in community outreach events and organizational activities to promote awareness of financial well-being program services and resources available to team members. - Collect and document participant success stories, testimonials, and program outcome data to support program reporting, deliverables, and continuous improvement efforts. - Participates in ongoing training, certification, and skill development related to financial coaching and well-being best practices. - Follow all applicable confidentiality regulations, including HIPAA, FIPA, PHI, and PII requirements, in all interactions and documentation practices. - Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including those related to professional conduct, financial management standards, and program compliance. - Contribute to overall organizational success by performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Other Related Functions - Assist with the administration and day-to-day operations of the Team Member Pantry, including intake support and resource distribution as needed. - Support program administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, participant communications, and preparation of program materials. - Assist in the development and updating of financial education curriculum, resource guides, and coaching tools. - Represent the program at internal and external meetings, health fairs, and informational events as requested. Qualifications Education/Training - Associate’s degree required. - Two (2) years of relevant experience (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section) may be substituted for the associate’s degree. Licensure/Certification - Financial coaching certification or related credential preferred. - Certified Financial Capabilities (CFC) Practitioner or equivalent designation preferred. - Crisis intervention training preferred. Experience - Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing financial coaching, counseling, social services, or related support services required. - Client management databases or case management system experience preferred. - Experience within healthcare, nonprofit, or large organizational settings preferred.
