Role Overview
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the delivery of construction and workplace projects across all phases. You will assist in planning, coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Project Support & Coordination
- Assist in the delivery of project management services throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct background research, data collection, and benchmarking to support decision-making.
- Establish and maintain effective project documentation and reporting systems.
- Support the development and updating of detailed project plans and schedules.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track project progress and performance indicators; prepare updates and reports.
- Manage change control processes and maintain accurate change logs.
- Draft formal progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Attend project meetings and produce accurate and timely meeting minutes.
- Support communication flow between internal and external teams.

Qualifications
- Professionally qualified in one of the following fields: construction, project management, engineering, surveying, and architecture or information technology.
- Qualifications in Project Management / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience is welcome
- A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post-project review.
- Design, management or construction experience gained within the general construction environment.
- Experience of leading project management commissions for medium, large, sized construction projects of medium to high complexity.
- Direct experience in negotiating with regulatory agencies regarding departures from building code and construction change orders.
- A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in construction industry
- Business level English and Japanese required
