Job Summary
Manages and supports the College of Business by recruiting new graduate students in accordance with the College mission, goals, and policies. Assists supervisors and related teams by participating in, managing, and reporting on recruiting processes.
- Follows College recruiting procedures and practices and provides suggestions to improve processes where appropriate.
- Stays informed of all College graduate program requirements, curricula, highlights, schedules, and features in order to disseminate information to prospective students.
- Utilizes the accepted customer relationship management (CRM) tools to input and track inquiries, leads, prospects, applicants, and accepted students.
- Plans and manages periodic information sessions (both face-to-face and online) for assigned program(s) and coordinates with other programs for joint events. Attends events, including but not limited to Open House, Financial Aid Day and other local, national, and international recruiting events.
- Keeps supervisors and fellow managers informed regarding recruiting issues and activities via periodic reports and meetings as requested.
- Trains direct reports in recruiting processes and procedures and manages team activities and the work culture/environment.
- Keeps inventory of necessary recruiting materials and issues procurement requests with ample lead time.
- Provides oversight to team members as needed with respect to advising prospective applicants via face-to-face, phone, email, chat, and any other approved communication. Collaboratively works with admissions and financial aid team to facilitate smooth transition into the program. Communicates with student services teams after student has been admitted into the program.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant experience or Master's degree and 5 years of relevant experience
