Job Summary
The Center for Academic Success (CfAS) Department is currently seeking a Temporary Tutor to join their team of professionals.
Duties include:
- Conducts individual, small group, and/or online tutoring sessions.
- Reviews classroom or curricula topics and assignments.
- Assists students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research and other academic tasks.
- Works with students to help them understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom.
- Provides students positive and constructive feedback.
- Participate in tutor training sessions/meetings.
- Support projects appropriate to the department functions.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma and 1 year of experience in subject areas.
- Proficiency in the subject-areas to be tutored.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments.
- Ability to relate with students from varying education, cultural, and social backgrounds.
- At least two instructor recommendations
