Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Sr. Manager to lead development for the East region at Popeyes. This role is critical in driving our growth strategy and development execution across the Northeast and Southeast US. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the QSR industry, exceptional project management skills, and a proven ability to navigate complex challenges while building a robust pipeline in priority markets.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Work closely with brokers, franchisees, and franchisee development teams to ultimately guide franchisees to strategic site selection that yields long-term sales growth
Collaborate cross-functionally with the market planning, design, field operations, and franchising team to build and execute ideal market plans across the East region
Manage prioritization of the Popeyes Reinvestment Program and ensure franchisee compliance alongside the Development Lead and franchising team
Work closely with market planning and franchising team on the adoption and amendment of new deals, ensuring alignment with growth objectives and market conditions
Develop and execute strategies for mitigating closures and temporary closures, maintaining a focus on long-term restaurant performance and sustainability
Attend national and local real estate conferences, building industry connections and finding creative ways to unlock growth
Lead market visits with the franchisee, broker teams, and Popeyes field teams to help drive long-term growth decisions
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
8 years of experience in QSR/retail, with a preference for experience in real estate, development or finance
Proven track record in strategic site selection and pipeline management
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends
Excellent time management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and the ability to oversee various priorities alongside various functions
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Willingness to travel 25% of the time
