Specific Job Function:

  • Prospect for potential customers through various means, including but not limited to “cold calling” and “door-to-door” methodologies with the purpose of generating new business and the understanding that these activities comprise approximately 50% of this role.
  • Proactively generate appointments with both existing and potential customers who are reasonably expected to have an interest in the Company’s product lines and ability to qualify for Culligan Payment Plans.
  • Follow all guidelines to complete rental contracts correctly and thoroughly, then submit them via the proper channels as determined by the Sales Manager.
  • Identify specific customer needs and evaluate all revenue generating opportunities.
  • Create and present proposals in the format appropriate for each customer to educate and recommend solutions according to Culligan’s product and service line.
  • Analyze customers’ water composition and deliver sales presentations.
  • Attend trade shows, industry meetings, and other promotional or educational events as deemed beneficial or necessary by the Company.
  • Meet or exceed minimum requirements as defined by the Company for sales volume expectations, sales-generating activities, units rented/sold, and any other defined minimum requirements.
  • Complete any other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of one year of sales experience preferred.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Valid driver’s license and own transportation
