Duties and Responsibilities

What You Will Do

Every day is different. You’ll help make sure our public safety teams have everything they need to respond quickly and confidently. You’ll play a key role in keeping equipment ready, supplies stocked, and operations running smoothly.

Here’s what your day may include:

  • Making sure essential equipment and supplies are available when our teams need them
  • Tracking inventory and coordinating with vendors to get materials where they need to go
  • Helping monitor incidents and preparing simple reports that support operations
  • Keeping our inventory and asset database accurate and up to date
  • Supporting logistics operations during emergency activations, when your work matters most

You’ll also jump in to support warehouse and field operations:

  • Retrieving and delivering files, boxes, plans, and parts
  • Pulling vehicle parts for mechanics and keeping supplies moving
  • Cleaning and decontaminating EMS equipment at hospitals and other sites
  • Restocking supply cabinets and running reorder reports
  • Inspecting ambulances to make sure they’re fully stocked and ready to roll
  • Ensuring equipment is maintained, logged, and in the right place
  • Helping with the annual asset inventory across Public Safety
  • Supporting daily workflows like logging receipts, posting transfers, and assisting vendors
  • Operating vehicles and equipment safely
  • Tackling additional tasks as needed, because you’re part of the team

Education, Experience, Licensing

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Six (6) months of experience in inventory, logistics, warehouse work, or a closely related field, such as:
    • Warehouse operations (stocking, picking, receiving, or material handling)
    • Logistics or supply chain support (shipping, deliveries, tracking, or distribution)
    • Inventory control or stockroom work (cycle counts, data entry, part issuing)
    • Fleet, equipment, or parts management (mechanic shop or vehicle parts support)
    • Public safety support roles (EMS, fire, or medical supply restocking and equipment readiness)

Required:

  • Forklift certification

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work in warehouse, field, and administrative settings

  • Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures

  • Reliable, steady work habits, especially during busy or high-demand periods

Supplemental Information

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
