Position Summary:

The Florida Atlantic University, in Boca Raton, Florida is seeking an Assistant Professor of Anglophone Literature for the Department of English. Duties and responsibilities include teaching, research and service relating to U.S. World Anglophone Literature. Teaching duties include teaching graduate courses in English and Creative Writing, mentoring graduate students, and academic advising and related activities. Position may also be expected to contribute to the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in Comparative Studies as well as FAU’s Certificate Programs in Asian Studies; Ethnic Studies; Classical Studies; Peace, Justice and Human Rights; Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies; and Sexuality and Gender Education. Telecommuting/remote work permitted (possibility for teaching distance learning course).

Ph.D. degree in English, Comparative Literature, or a related field.

Transcripts must be issued to Florida Atlantic University, not to the individual applicant.
