Plant Manager &- Industrial Manufacturing
Hiring a Plant Manager to oversee daily operations within a custom fabrication and systems manufacturing environment. This leadership role will drive production, quality, safety, scheduling, and continuous improvement across fabrication, assembly, testing, and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will come from a hands-on industrial manufacturing background with strong leadership experience in a fast-paced production setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day plant operations including fabrication, assembly, testing, paint, and shipping
- Lead production teams to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals
- Manage production scheduling, manpower planning, and workflow efficiency
- Monitor manufacturing performance and implement process improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality procedures, and company policies
- Work closely with engineering, purchasing, and project management teams to support production demands
- Drive accountability, employee development, and overall plant performance
- Maintain equipment, facility operations, and production readiness
- Review KPIs, production metrics, and operational reports to improve productivity and reduce downtime
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing operations leadership
- Background in fabrication, mechanical systems, pumps, piping, or custom equipment manufacturing preferred
- Strong understanding of production scheduling, quality control, and plant operations
- Experience managing teams in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lead continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
- Knowledge of welding, fabrication, assembly, and industrial manufacturing processes
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with manufacturing systems, production reporting, and operational planning
